BRK25M Parallel Port Breakout Board

The BRK25M provides a fast and easy method to utilize your PC's parallel printer port in your electronics circuits and projects. With one on just about every PC ever made, the parallel port is one of the most common ports with a DB25 form factor. Parallel port control has become extremely popular with hobbyists due to its simplicity and flexibility in controlling robots, stepper motors, CNC Machines, keypad/display control panels, and many more gadgets!
In short, the BRK25M can make the use of the parallel port faster and cleaner in all of these applications. It allows for clean change and rework of your projects without requiring any resoldering on a DB25 connector. A breakout board is sometimes referred to as a "transition module", "terminal board", "terminal block", "breakout box", "breakout adapter", "terminator", or "interface module".
Mounting Options
These products are available in two different mounting variants. Product numbers ending with -DIN come with DIN clips already installed and ready to snap onto 35mm or 32mm DIN rail. Product numbers ending with -FT have stick-on rubber feet installed on the bottom side, allowing for benchtop use or panel mounting. For panel mounting, we suggest 1/4" nylon standoffs under the mounting holes, and #6 screws.
